U.S. soldier killed in bomb attack west of Baghdad

BAGHDAD, Dec 28 (Reuters) - A U.S. soldier was killed and three were wounded on Sunday when a roadside bomb was detonated as their convoy drove past near a town west of Baghdad, the U.S. Army said.

In a statement, it said the convoy was attacked northeast of the flashpoint town of Falluja, in the volatile "Sunni triangle" region where much of the resistance to occupying troops has been concentrated.

If I hear one more supposed "general" say attacks against coalition forces are decreasing, I'm going to put my foot thru the TV!

Was this the soldier in Faluja? Or the one in Baghdad? Or was there a third killed? There are so many I can't keep track.

Anyone still believe catching Saddam made us safer?

have anything else you could be doing, such as going to the malls for all the after Xmas bargains instead of keeping track of how many people are dying in IraqNam? Where are your priorities? SHOPPING IS OUR GOD and WAL-MART IS OUR CHURCH.
