1. Actually, people support Dean BECAUSE of his blunt remarks. . .
very little pussyfooting - he calls a spade a spade when it's necessary.

:kick:

7. Exactly right!
These Father Knows Best articles -- "Careful, children, beware the angry, blunt candidate!" -- would be more risible if they weren't also depressing evidence of just how much our masters wish to turn Americans into sheep.

As long as the powers that be are *this* troubled by Dean, he's doing something right.

3. Personally, I think the pundits and the media and the establishment
democrats totally underestimated and misunderstood how actually angry the grassroots were/are over what is happening since the theft of the 2000 election.

Dean caught the wave and may well ride it into the democratic nomination. Unfortunately it is unlikely he will be able to ride it into the Oval Office but that is up to two sets of voters; the angry activists who vote in the primaries, and the rest of the voters in the nation.

It will be tragic if he wins the first and we lose the second as a result. That is the question democrats will be taking with them into the polling booth. We'll know their decision in a very short time.

6. I think the public being well trained by Fox, is immune to blunt remarks!
I guess the shock and awe of the Bush administration and
propagandized show news of Fox has openned the door
for a candidate like Dean!!!!
Yep, America wants somebody if not anybody to sock it to them.

This is why Dean's "rolling off the cuff" spontaneity is just
ripe for the likes of ROVE!!!!

8. On Face the Nation...
... this morning, the host (Screiber?) had a commentary at the end which said in essence - "I've never seen politicians so disciplined. they say absolutely nothing that could upset anyone, take the middle on every issue".

Has it occurred to ANYBODY just how freaking sick and tired of listening to 5 minute non-answers to questions the electorate is?

Take a position, any position, but this constant riding the fence is fooling nobody and is not going to cut it this time.

Has Dean tripped on his own dingus a couple times? Absolutely, but at least he actually utters words that were not prescripted and vetted by his managers and THAT MY FRIEND is why he is doing so well, not the vaunted "anti-war" bit. People want a real person, warts and all, not another "try to please everyone and hence please no one politician".
