Source: The Post Chronicle

essie Davis Murder Update: Myisha Ferrell, a former classmate of Bobby Cutts, Jr., the man accused of murdering Jessie Davis and her unborn child, was arrested today on related obstruction of justice charges according to the FBI.

Ferrell was arrested just hours after the body of Jessie Davis was found in Cyanhoga Valley National Park, according to the AP.

2. Once again the media is out of control
They are making this poor woman's death into another Laci Peterson case, complete with wall-to-wall coverage on Saturday, at least on CNN. IMO, this is strictly a local story, not a national media event. And that woman who works for one of the radio stations in that area, who claimed a source within the suspect's family told her he confessed, was a complete bitch on the air, and CNN repeatedly had her on to say the same crap over and over again, in a very smarmy tone no less, sounding like a Nancy Grace-less wannabe. It just made me sick. I hate it when they take a tragedy like this, something that should be nothing more than a local story, and turn it into a nationwide circus. Why in the hell does anyone watch these morons? I don't get it.

3. I think it's because
there's a message they're reinforcing... Women, be afraid. You are always vulnerable and if you don't conform to OUR standards of behavior, you may be next.

As if we don't understand and live constantly in awareness of that vulnerability.

6. Look
No need for the smart-ass comment. I usually don't, but happen to be channel surfing while resting my back on Saturday, and stopped to watch for a few moments. Also, I grew up in Ohio and was trying to find out what was going on. So back off.
