Rove Memoir Expected To Fetch $3M
Source: The Huffington Post

Karl Rove, the controversial and long-time senior adviser to President George W. Bush, is shopping a memoir in an auction that will kick off today and likely result in a seven-figure payday.

"It will sell for millions, but how many millions is the question," said one publisher who is expected to bid.

"It's going to be an interesting auction, he's smart and he's capable of moving beyond the cliches," said the publisher, who predicted a $3 million sale.

6. My thought precisely
Whatever fool publisher wants to pay Rove $3 million to spin his own tale will lose a LOT of money, as the book goes directly to the remainder rack and the three-for-a-buck rate for new subscribers to National Review.

4. Who would want to read a book of lies?
The man is incapable of telling the truth. If there is one truthful sentence in the whole thing, I'd be surprised.

7. Mind blower!
I wouldn't read Karl Rove's book for even $4,000,000. It would offend my beautiful mind!

10. If he does do a booksigning....
...progressives should rally at the bookstore, buy the book and for $22.95 get a chance to say a few words to the distinguished author. (Then throw the book on the ground and kick it away in front of his fat fuck face).

20. No, no, no don't throw the book on the ground
don't let him sign the book, then hand it off to another progressive waiting in line (I imagine the line will be awfully short). Get 10 or 20 of your friends to go, buy ONE copy of the book and split the cost between you. That way you could get the satisfaction of snarling at the creep without paying the price of the book... It's a plot even Rove would have to admire.

19. marked down again, bought up as firewood
I don't like the idea of burning books, but...I feel that burning a book by Rove would be like using the Sears-Roebuck catalog in the outhouse...

...a proper use.
