At the end of January, Polish entrepreneurs seeking to acquire contracts on their own will visit Iraq and Kuwait.
They can attend the Rebuild Iraq international fairs and try to establish direct business relations with local partners. On Wednesday evening, the U.S. government announced tenders worth $5 billion for reconstructing Iraq, which should be concluded by the beginning of March. There will be a further series of tenders, worth $18.6 billion, which will be financed from American taxpayers' money, and will only be open to friends and allies of the USA. Poland has been included on the special list of 63 countries allowed to bid in the tenders.
