Giuliani tries to ease fears about his health
Source: Reuters

DES MOINES, Iowa (Reuters) - U.S. Republican presidential hopeful Rudy Giuliani, a survivor of prostate cancer, tried to allay concerns about his health on Sunday after a hospital stay he attributed to a painful headache.

His staff originally said the former New York mayor had flu-like symptoms when he ordered his plane back to St. Louis last week but he cited a "headache worse than I've ever had."

~snip~

"I feel great now, I feel terrific. I've been tested out, everything came back 100 percent," Giuliani said in a taped interview with ABC News' "This Week" program. He said he did not black out and that the plane's cabin pressure had made his pain worse.

Giuliani, who was back on the campaign trail on Sunday in New Hampshire, said his doctor would address the episode sometime after Christmas

Just watched the section of the interview, he insists he's clear of cancer but is still waiting for the tests to come back.

2. If his mental health comes into question then people will start following
that guy with butterfly nets.

He's just like the sociopath contaminating OUR White House.

4. I think more voters are concerned about the corruption and lying
I never gave his hospitalization much thought, except to note that a whole lot of us have no access to health care at all.

To turn an airplane around because of Flu symptoms? Headache?
It did seem odd. But whats not odd about Rudy?
But I hardly gave it a thought because it was in keeping with Giuliani's extreme weirdness.

8. You don't turn a plane around for a headache, even a severe one
Minor stroke, maybe? Something is wrong here. Let's hope he lives a long and healthy life - out of the public eye.

Disappear, Rudy.

6. I'm wondering if there are any Republican presidential candidates who DON'T have cancer.
In a logical world, one imagines the Republicans would be loath to choose a candidate who would stand a good chance of dropping dead a couple of years into his term. Mind you, this isn't a logical world.

9. How Many Poor
worked today with a headache as bad as his? How many can't take time or money to see a doctor, let alone have everything tested and spend a night. How many took a handful of painkillers and just kept going? How often does R.G. or any other of the Republicans say 'But for the grace of God, go I?" Not too bloody many or they'd have more interest in passing health care.
