Adecco Faces Class Action Lawsuits on Behalf of Shareholders
Jan. 17 (Bloomberg) -- Adecco SA, the world's
largest provider of temporary workers, is being sued on behalf of shareholders by three U.S. law firms alleging that the Swiss company inflated its stock price by misrepresenting its accounts.
Law firms Schiffrin & Barroway LLP, Cauley Geller Bowman & Rudman LLP and Glancy Binkow & Goldberg LLP filed lawsuits with the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York, they said in separate newswire statements.
The legal action is on behalf of those who bought Adecco stock
between March 16, 2000, and Jan. 9, 2004, the law firms said. The firms allege Adecco made misrepresentations to the market concerning its results.

Note that the date on this case spans through LAST WEEK.
