On edit:

If you are keeping count, this brings the number of KIAs to 503.

1. Disgusting
I can't even see why a supporter of this war would continue to support the continued occupation of Iraq anymore.

2. It looks to me like Bush wants out and to send his mess to UN
Can anyone figure out what this country is doing? We seem to have a new plan weekly.I have seen people live with ex-drunks before and I think that is what is going on. Zealots and an ex-drunk. Madness.

As disgusting as it may sound, because they want to be right and they don't have the balls to admit that they were wrong (WMDs).As long it's not something that doesn't hit them personally like losing a family member, the most important thing is to be right.
I've seen several pro war guys still supporting the invasion without any doubt, now of course it was to liberate Iraq. It's always interesting to watch how their arguments for war change in the same way like the Administration's reasoning.

3. need "electronic" t-shirts/bumper stickers etc
I've been thinking that it would be effective to have t-shirts/bumper stickers etc that are capable of keeping up with the body count and WMDs found

something along the lines of:

WMD's Bush Found: 0
Killed in Action: 503

4. I said that people will take notice when we hit 500
and yesterday in the rightwing rag that is our local paper, there on the front page in color was a photo of the bradley that was blown up. With a story covering the dead and wounded that carried over into the paper, but, the thing is this rag endorsed the chimp* during 2000, maybe there is a sea change coming.
If this rag is covering the war like this now, like they should have been doing all along, then people will notice.

5. It's disgusting that it takes so many deaths to make an impact
From the first death to the 503rd, they have all been equally tragic. This war was unnecessary.
