Clinton Presidential Library this morning released more than 11,000 pages of schedules from Hillary Rodham Clinton's time in the White House, offering the most comprehensive public record to date of her tenure as first lady as she cites that experience in her presidential campaign.

The Clinton campaign said the documents would bolster her case by showing her extensive involvement in key issues during the 1990s.

Carson said the former president encouraged the archives to release even more than was required under law. The spokesman challenged Clinton's primary rival, Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.), to release his schedules and other records from his time as an Illinois state senator.
But the schedules of meetings and events provided little insight into the substance of the former first lady's activities, and there appeared to be a number of omissions -- in addition to thousands of redactions.
