Doubt over N Korea's ability on nuclear bomb

Siegfried Hecker, former head of the Los Alamos National Laboratory, said he had seen no evidence that North Korea had the ability to build and deliver a nuclear bomb.

"At Yongbyon , they demonstrated that they most likely had the capability to make plutonium metal," Mr Hecker said. "However, I saw nothing and spoke to no one who could convince me that they could build a nuclear device with that metal, and that they could weaponise such a device into a delivery vehicle."
