Two-way jobs traffic as Indian firms set up in UK
http://us.rediff.com/money/2004/jan/28bpo5.htm

Fast-growing Indian companies in the United Kingdom have pumped in about £300 million into the British economy to date and their investment levels may increase as India becomes more prosperous, Sunil Mehta, vice-chairman of the National Association of Software and Service Companies, has said.

According to Mehta, 441 Indian firms have set up operations in the UK by the end of 2002, most of them in the information technology arena.

A survey by Nasscom and Evalueserve indicated that the passage of jobs between India and the UK is not a one-way street.

Britain's ageing population and slow birth rate will leave the country short of 700,000 workers in health and social care, retailing and financial services by 2010.

1. This article fails to mention what those companies do..
"According to Mehta, 441 Indian firms have set up operations in the UK by the end of 2002, most of them in the information technology arena."

Are they setting up companies to help outsource work more effectively?

Personally I have only seen problems with outsourcing at my company due to poor commnication.

2. Something else not mentioned...
The companies are setting up operations in the UK and then shipping in workers from India, Pakistan and other Muslim countries.

3. Other Muslim countries?
... like India? Come on (lol), you can do better than that. Outsourcing is a real problem, and it's currently screwing me, but let’s keep the facts straight. India is The anti-Muslim country and Pakistan's only exports are poverty and terrorism. It’s countries that have a high rate of English literacy and education and low annual per capita income that we have to watch out for.
