Bush approval 47 percent in ARG poll: Kerry beats Bush 47-46

This is great news, especially when you look at how poorly Bush is doing among independents, both in job approval and re-elect.

2. Well, 11 percent of Dems voted for him in 2000

so this is a similar number (don't ask me who they are. I can't imagine any Dem voting for Bush, but what do I know?). The key to me is how poorly Bush does with independents. He can't lose those by such a large margin and have a reasonable shot at winning.

Without a green party or other major third party candidate 9-11 is Bush's only chance. I think he is toast.

I'm not aware of the Zogby numbers, but a Newsweek poll had it at 49% to 46% in favor of Kerry earlier this week.

Bush's job rating is 47 percent approval, 47 percent disapproval (among adults, not registered voters). In a head-to-head matchup with Bush (among registered voters), Kerry gets 47 percent of the vote and Bush 46 percent.

This huge advantage of Kerry with the independents is major bad news for Bush. I wouldn't worry about the 12% of Dems for Bush. Those are DINOS who always vote Rep, imo.


Also I would doubt that many of the undecided are going to end up in the Bush column. They either go to Kerry or they stay home, imo.

Things are looking like shit for bush and this country and it looks to get much worse. Terrible news for Americans, even worse news for bush. However, no one is more deserving of a humiliating landslide defeat this year than the little fraud, just like that bastard father of his suffered!
