Afghan president says Osama bin Laden still alive

KABUL - Afghan President Hamid Karzai said on Saturday he believed terror mastermind Osama bin Laden, who has eluded determined efforts to capture him, was alive although not necessarily living in Afghanistan.

“He is alive, you see his tapes and speeches,” Karzai told reporters at the presidential palace in Kabul.

“It doesn’t mean that Osama is in Afghanistan, it means that he may be somewhere in the area in the borders between Afghanistan and Pakistan.”

I think Osama is dead but it wouldn't surprise me if we pulled another "capture" like we did with Saddam...having someone else catch him an hold him prisoner, drugged and beaten, and then call in the spec ops for photo ops.
