Rudy Giuliani's Son Sues Duke Over Golf Dismissal
Source: ABC News

The son of former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani is suing Duke University, claiming he was wrongfully kicked off the golf team.

Andrew Giuliani claims he was dismissed without cause from the golf team earlier this year because coach O.D. Vincent III wanted to cut the team of 13 players by about half. The lawsuit claims the coach has interferred with Giuliani's efforts toward becoming a professional golfer.

Duke University spokesman Keith Lawrence said Thursday the university was discussing the lawsuit but didn't have an immediate comment.

The 198-page lawsuit was filed Wednesday in U.S. District Court by Durham attorney Robert Ekstrand. Ekstrand did not immediately return a message for comment.

4. Hey, Drew. Maybe Dad can get you lessons at a restricted club
to overcome this "interference" by the Duke coach.

Man I miss the days when most PGA members started out as CC caddies instead of members.

Evans Scholars Foundation

The WGA-sponsored Evans Scholars Foundation administers the nation’s largest privately funded college scholarship program. Since 1930, over 8,500 deserving young caddies have earned their college degrees through Evans Scholarships. Today, more than 820 caddies attend college each year as Evans Scholars. The Evans Scholarship was founded by golf great Charles “Chick” Evans Jr. (1890-1979).

5. A 198 page lawsuit will not make him a better golfer
If you want to make the team, practice harder. Now THIS is a frivolous lawsuit. Typical Republican brat throwing a tantrum.

and his adorable antics during his daddy's victory speech, a few years ago. Thats Andrew on the right. (On the left : 911! 911! 911! 911! )

And here is Andrew Gulliani being spoofed by the late Chris Farley for that performance.

7. I hope...
that Giuliani and other Republicans are in favour of every Joe or Jane Bloggs having the right to sue similarly for unfair dismissal when some big boss decides to 'downsize'.

But for some weird reason I doubt it.

9. According to goduke.com,,,
He has been on the team for 3 years, FR, So JR years. He had the 3rd highest average on 18 holes AND on 54 holes. IE, he never really played well or often enough to even consider turning pro in my mind!

16. Hey, Andrew. Did you ever consider that it might be a lack of talent interfering
with your efforts toward becoming a professional golfer?

17. A 200-page lawsuit over getting booted off the golf team?
200-freaking-pages explaining why you were egregiously booted from the team, without even mentioning that, according to the records kept by the team, you suck at golf?

Perhaps I am being too hard on the young Ghouliani. I mean, after the events of 9/11...
