Duma to consider prolongation of presidential term

MOSCOW - Russian Duma will consider legislative initiative of Ivanov region deputies regarding Russian president term prolongation to seven years. According to information posted at the Duma official web-site, the legislation will be considered in February.

Responsibility for the legislation going is lad upon Duma committees on constitutional legislation and state structuring and committee on civil, criminal, arbitral and remedial legislation, Izvestia reports..cont'd

4. it seems completely reasonable to shorten it to two years
after what's happened in the last four years. Four years is entirely too long.
