Uh, no -- it just might have something to do with being subpoenaed for attending an antiwar rally. It might have a little to do with claiing the right to fish through records of all types. And it might relate to judicial gag orders. The 'FBI-Joint Terrorism Task Force' card just makes it worse. A simple mistake on the part of a sheriff's deputy? Or an attempt to intimidate? Hey, if this has nothing to do with the 'anti-terrorism task force,' could the deputy get in trouble for misrepresenting himself?
And if this is truly a simple investigation where a law was actually broken, or might have been, then doesn't the involvement of the card demonstrate how involvement with the Homeland Gestapo can undermine the legitimacy of local law enforcement?
