Israeli Intelligence tracking Al-Qaida inside Afghanistan: JUS
Israel, who helped India acquire state-of-the-art weapons and trained its military forces, has now established secret relations with the Karzai regime in Afghanistan.

Sources claim that Israeli intelligence agencies are working in Helmand province and are being used to monitor the Al-Qaida and Taliban fighters in the area. The reason that the government is giving for their presence is that the agents speak the Arabic language, the main language Al-Qaida communicates in.

This is of course a ridiculous excuse as the Karzai regime could have hired Arabs for this task rather than Israeli agents. These agents are using American passports and are being allowed to move about the country freely, according to a JUS report.

Israel has also sent a delegation recently to train the Afghan national army, with some Israeli agents being disguised as American soldiers. Indian consulates have also popped up in almost every major city in Afghanistan and are providing the Israeli agents with an established base of operations inside the country.

1. The Linguistic Question, Sir
Does not sound like a rediculous excuse at all, but rather a sound operational consideration. "Hired Arabs" would always be a question mark in this sort of thing; there could be no doubt where an Israeli translator's loyalties lay.
