I removed % in title as it will be changing through the night. The prospect of a 60-seat, filibuster-resistant Senate majority may be falling short on the outcome of Tuesday’s runoff between Georgia Republican Sen. Saxby Chambliss and Democratic challenger Jim Martin. Early numbers indicate that the turnout in the Georgia runoff election places Chambliss ahead of Martin in a battle that saw an onslaught of every major GOP biggie flying into Georgia to try to prevent further erosion of the sliding hillside that is the Republican Party.

5. Where did you get that text from?
That doesn't appear on the SOS's website.

PLUS, there's only 4% of the vote in, from what appears to be mostly rural areas.

I don't know if that's good or bad.

On edit: Gwinnett is Atlanta so yes they are counting and yes it's bad.

10. Nate Silver: 'I haven't found a single county...'
Nate Silver of FiveThirtyEight.com which closely predicted the November 4th election says 'I haven't found a single county with a significant percentage of the vote in where Chambliss isn't performing better than he did on November 4. This looks like a 14 point win for him or something.'

12. The truth is we couldn't count on all 60 Democrats anyway. However,
there WILL be some republicans such as collins and maybe spector who may vote with us

16. NO paper ballot. NO recount possible. NO audit possible. Totally fraudulent
election SYSTEM. Built for fraud. Delivering fraud.

And even if it delivers Martin--for whatever weird, long term planning motives the fascist voting machine corporation may have--it is still not recountable, not auditable, and not provable.

Half the voting systems in the country are like this--100% non-transparent. The other half are barely transparent--they may have a paper ballot backup, but do a ZERO audit or only 1% audit (very inadequate in a 'TRADE SECRET' code system). How can we put up with this? We can't even prove that Barack Obama was elected! It's up to the far rightwing, private voting machine corporations to tell us who won. Insane!

18. The only upshot to this is...
the Dems don't have to placate to lieberman for his vote any more.
