Howard flies into yet more American trouble
Source: Sydney Morning Herald

He has already drawn ire in the US by booking out Barack Obama's pre-inauguration pad, but the former prime minister John Howard may have put more noses out of joint yesterday.

The flight John and Janette Howard were taking to the United States was delayed by about an hour yesterday afternoon, leaving scores of US holiday makers with a frustrating wait on their return home.

The airline said the delay of flight 107 was simply the result of routine cabin cleaning and the search for a missing passenger.

3. Once Bush has departed from the world stage,
John Howard should become what he really is: yesterday's man.

Nobody else is taking a blind bit of notice of him, but he and old George continue to prop each
other up.
