India hails Obama remark on terror from Pak(istan)

NEW DELHI : Welcoming US President Barack Obama's statement that Afghanistan and Pakistan are the central front in the America's war against
terrorism, defence minister A K Antony said on Friday the world must take action to tackle terror emanating from Pakistani soil.

The defence minister said that al least 30 terror camps are still operating in Pakistan. The terrorist outfits operating from Pakistan soil should be disbanded, he said.

"Sympathy and solidarity is fine, but what India needs is action," said Antony.

Earlier, US President Barack Obama on Friday said Afghanistan and Pakistan are the central front in the America's war against terrorism and the deteriorating situation in the region poses a grave threat to global security, PTI reported.

Finally we have an intelligent President who understand that Pakistan is the nexus of terrorism and only acting as an "ally" to blackmail more financial and military aid out of the US.

Unfortunately Pakistan is still being hailed as an ally. People here should have learned from the Mumbai attack that Pakistan is much more friendly with terrorist then they realized before the attacks. As you mentioned, it is refreshing to see a President that actually understands the true situation in South Asia.
