India's Congress wants Pakistan declared terror state
Source: Reuters

NEW DELHI, Feb 7 (Reuters) - India's Congress Party on Saturday said the international community should consider declaring Pakistan a terrorist state in light of the latter's release of a scientist who sold nuclear secrets around the globe.

"It is time for the international community to think whether to declare Pakistan a terrorist country," Manish Tewari, the Congress party spokesman said in New Delhi, in reference to the end from house arrest of Pakistani nuclear scientist Abdul Qadeer Khan.

India's Congress Party rules in a coalition, and the call to the world community was from the party, not from the Indian government.

Khan, the man at the centre of the world' most serious nuclear proliferation scandal, was released on Friday after five years of house arrest.

5. The FBI and Scotland Yard don't seem to think so.
The gunmen were all from Pakistan and spoke in Paki accent. One guy was caught alive and has been interviewed by the FBI and Scotland Yard.

There are telephone intercepts between the masterminds in Pakistan and the terrorists.

I am sometimes amazed by the Pakistan apologists on this board who ignore hard evidence and spin conspiracy theories.

There have been 11 terrorist attacks in India in the last 5 years, all of them incontrovertibly traced to Pakistan. In fact, most of the world's Islamic terrorist attacks have their origins in Pakistan including 9/11.

Pakistan, a two-bit, tinpot state which exists for the sole reason for the hatred of India uses terror as official state policy.

6. Poland puts beheading blame on Pakistani govt
WARSAW, Poland (AP) — Poland promised Monday to issue international arrest warrants for Taliban militants after the apparent beheading of a Polish engineer in Pakistan, and officials charged that elements within the Pakistani government shared blame for the killing.

Pakistan's top diplomat in Poland firmly rejected the accusation that some members of the Islamabad government are sympathetic to Islamic extremists, saying his country is snarled in a bitter fight with terrorist groups that is killing many of its own.

Without a body, Polish authorities were not able to officially confirm the death of Piotr Stanczak, but they said a seven-minute video purporting to show the 42-year-old's slaying appeared authentic. Copies of the video were delivered to journalists in Pakistan on Sunday.

Foreign Minister Radek Sikorski condemned the apparent killing as a "bestial execution" and said the government would issue arrest warrants for the culprits

Few Poles are working in Pakistan at the moment, according to the Foreign Ministry, but about 1,600 Polish soldiers are serving with the NATO mission in Afghanistan.

A spokesman for Taliban militants in northwestern Pakistan told The Associated Press that Stanczak was "slaughtered"
because the Pakistani government missed a deadline to release 26 prisoners. The Taliban had also demanded the government withdraw troops from Pakistan's tribal areas.

The video, seen by the AP, shows two hooded men taking a dagger in turn and running it along the victim's neck. They then lay him out on the floor and put his head on his chest. One of them then cleans his blood-soaked hands with the Pole's shirt.

After that, a hooded militant delivers a message saying his group would have let the victim go if the Pakistani government had freed their jailed comrades.

I believe some of the miscreants being held in pak jails were the ones who slit the throats of 22 members of Pakistan's department of peace last year.

maybe not
