Ginsburg expected back at high court Monday
Only female justice recently had surgery for pancreatic cancer
updated 5 minutes ago

WASHINGTON - Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg is expected to be in attendance when the Supreme Court returns from a three-week break Monday.

The court will announce whether it has accepted any cases for review, dispose of hundreds of rejected appeals and hear arguments in cases at a session that should end around noon.

Ginsburg had surgery for pancreatic cancer on Feb. 5. She was released from the hospital eight days later and has said she intends to be in court Monday.

2. Time for Sen. Bunning to shut up.
Good for her .... I wish her well.

(UPI) - Sen. Jim Bunning, R-Ky., has predicted that U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg would likely be dead from pancreatic cancer this year.
The (Louisville, Ky.) Courier-Journal reported Sunday that the senator made the comment Saturday in a speech to the Hardin County Republican Party's Lincoln Day Dinner.

Telling attendees that the justice has cancer, Bunning noted that is was "bad cancer ... the kind that you don't get better from."

He said even though Ginsburg was operated on this month, "usually, nine months is the longest that anybody would live after (being diagnosed) with pancreatic cancer.

3. My God, what a horrible thing to say
What an asshole!!! Of course during his reelection campaign he was confused and out of it and people were questioning his ability to hold the office. He needs to be reamed for this statement and then he should apologize!
I thought he was a washed up baseball player, not a doctor...

:grr:

5. Ginsburg might very well have terminal cancer but she got out of bed .....
.... and wanted to go to work and if she is up to it then I wish her well and
hope she has privacy as far as her medical condition is concerned.

Bunning owes her an apology/

6. I cannot stand it when Bunning comes here for Tigers related stuff.
That ass-hat had the audacity to get $35 for a signed baseball in Taylor in December, right after his vocal opposition to the loans to the auto industry.

The man is whacked out, as Brian points out in this article.

As to Justice Ginburg...YOU GO GIRL!!!!
