Cheney says the actions the Bush administration took “resulted in serious blows” to enemy operations. He adds that the enemy has been “on the defensive” and terrorism efforts have “failed,” as a result of their efforts. (11:31 a.m.)
Cheney lashes the NYT for publishing top-secret information in order to, as he describes it, impress the Pulitzer Committee.

Did anyone else notice how Cheney said he found himself in a secure location on 9/11.

Cheney went there willingly, and even though it was secure, he was still frightened.

It's clear to me he was frightened for himself, not for anyone else.

How anyone can listen to this man who got 5 deferments so he wouldn't have to go to Vietnam is beyond me.

P.S. Cheney is droning on and on as I type this, yet he criticized our President for speaking more than 5 minutes.

5. It's important that we watched this

Cheney just publically called the president out. Daring him to do anything do him or the former administration. He just became the leader of the republican party. They will have a field day with this. As we just learned a plot was foiled yesterday. If something..anything happens Cheney will be vindicated.
