1. You mean we haven't been doing so since 9/11?
I guess finding the WMD's in Iraq was more important!

6. Bull puckey.
It took the US only two years to track down and kill the man responsible for Pearl Harbor (Adm. Yamamoto)... why should it take longer to do the same for Bin Laden? Of course, killing Adm. Yamamoto wasn't our top priority, since we had to defeat the fleet that he commanded first... and Bin Laden doesn't even have a fleet!

7. A fleet
War has changed since Pearl Harbor. The "fleets" of today can inflict serious harm with small chemistry packages. But you knew that...

8. Yeah, sure.
Except...
Do you know why chemical weapons are used so seldom in warfare? I mean, except for the mass use in WW1, and a few others... why no more uses? Geneva Conventions? Nations ignore the Geneva Conventions left and right. Why do so few use chemical weapons?

Because they are so ineffective.

Remember that terror attack in Japan? The one that used Sarin, one of the deadliest nerve agents known to man in a subway station?
Why a subway station?
BECAUSE...
they needed a enclosed space to prevent it from disappaiting to a non lethal dose.
And even then, more people died from the panicked stampede than from the nerve gas.

And, now that I think about it...
What nerve agents does Osama have? The stuff he got from Saddam(snarf!) How do you use a nerve agent (or bio, or nuke) to stop a sattelite from tracking you down and a Seal team from putting a bullet in you?

Nope, we should have put a maximum effort to get Osama from the beginning; and not gone into the Iraq sideshow until we had him, not wasted time and treasure on a job that didn't need to be done.

We can't be destroyed by Osama. We can only be destroyed by ourselves. Lincoln said it in 1865; he was right then and he's right now: As a nation, we are destined for greatness, or death by suicide.

9. No, I meant chemical in a broader sense
Thinks like KCl04 and fuel, Asprine nitrated with drain cleaner and saltpeter, you know...the simple things that go boom. Osama types teach this shit to the deadly and suicidal and that makes it bad news.

I know this shit.

10. Still doesn't protect him
from that Seal team.

I'm not saying Osama isn't a danger. I'm asking why it's taking so long to track him down. It's not like he's got a fleet protecting him. Guys with improvised explosives aren't going to stop a determined search; why did we wait until now to make it?

11. you honestly believe that a country like the u.s.
with all the resources at our disposal would take two years to track down someone as notorious as obl?
more like a planned ''gee, george, where did he go?''
