Consumer Confidence Falls Again in March
NEW YORK (Reuters) - Confidence in the U.S. economy slipped again in March after yet another disappointing jobs report, a survey showed on Tuesday.

Investor's Business Daily and TechnoMetrica Market Intelligence said their economic optimism index fell to 54.5 in March from 56.5 in February and a 22-month peak of 60.6 in January. A reading above 50 indicates optimism.

"There's no denying that the bad news on jobs is depressing public optimism," said Terry Jones, associate editor of Investor's Business Daily.

2. Gee, Wilbur, I wonder why!?!?!
Could it be, maybe those 21,000 government jobs produced in February? Let's see, 21,000 jobs divided by 50 states = why, that's a whopping 420 jobs per state!

5. 420 Non-private sector jobs.

I would post the source, but it seems that USAtoday has pulled the article.

4. But...but....but....
I've heard the economy is "surging", "blistering", "full speed ahead". What is wrong with these consumers??? Aren't they buying into Bushco's propaganda??? Guess not. For my part, I hope the economy stays stagnant until November. I can hold out. It'll be the thing that does * in. (Like father like son.)

6. Eight months equates into much suffering for the have-nots.

I would like to see things get a little better or we are really going to be screwd no matter who wins the WH.

I hope for the future, but I also am a realist.

Pay now or pay forever. It is your choice. I think that is the hard choice that is going to have to be made.

8. We are no matter who wins.
Sorry to be the pessimist, but the economy is sunk no matter who wins. The only reason it hasn't sunk earlier is that Bush has been deficit spending like a madman. That and the low interest rates. but there is an end to both in the future. Time to pay the piper.

11. But AWOL says
the jobs are....

Just around the corner
On the horizon
Speedily approaching
Arriving directly
Quickly materializing
Promptly nearing
Almost here
Within sight
Soon to flourish
About to happen
Presenting itself
Turning around
About to happen
Soon to arrive
Within our grasp
Forthcoming soon
Appearing promptly
Returning soon
Within our view
Coming to pass
About to develop
Coming to life
On the verge
Poised to appear

OMG.....people are sooooo tired of this crap!
