BBC reports at least two dead in explosion at a Masonic lodge in Istanbul, Turkey.

At least two people have been killed and several wounded in an explosion at a building housing a Masonic lodge in Istanbul, Turkish media have reported.

It is not immediately clear what caused the blast, but media reports indicated it may have been a bomb.

Ambulances and firefighters have been sent to the building, which is in a residential neighbourhood, AP reported.

In November more than 60 people were killed in a series of four suicide blasts in the city.

I don't know much about my fellow Brethern in Istanbul, or even if it's a recogized Lodge, but I'll have to keep my eyes on this one.

4. I have a friend that lived in Turkey a few years

He told me that bombings there are often based on old political and family feuds based upon conflicts and incidents that may have taken place twenty or thirty years earlier. His belief is that most of these bombings have nothing to do at all with the "international terrorism" scare being propagandized daily.
