ReutersMULTAN, Pakistan (Reuters) - Militants armed with grenades and a car bomb killed at least seven people in an assault on an office of Pakistan's main security agency on Tuesday, officials said, the third major attack in two days.
The attack in the eastern city of Multan underscored the relentless security troubles facing the nuclear-armed U.S. ally, whose help is vital in efforts to stabilize neighboring Afghanistan in the face of a growing insurgency.
