Poll: Kerry would be choice of terrorists
WASHINGTON, March 12 (UPI) -- A survey by a Washington pollster released Friday found a majority of those surveyed think terrorists would prefer to have Sen. John F. Kerry as president.

The Andres McKenna Research survey of 800 registered voters shows Kerry defeating Bush in the general election, 47 percent to 45 percent, with 9 percent undecided.

Asked, "Who do you think the terrorists would prefer to have as president," the independent poll found that 60 percent said Kerry while 25 percent said Bush.

18. This polling group is a Moonie-sponsored right wing outfit!
This group is bullshit, a right wing hit team.

Check out these questions they've asked:

6.) Which of the following would be the most upset about a peaceful, democratic, prosperous Iraq?

61% ISLAMIC RADICALS
17% THE DEMOCRATIC CANDIDATES FOR PRESIDENT
11% THE MEDIA
11% DON’T KNOW/REFUSED

and at the bottom:

14% 3 TO 6 MONTHS
18% 6 MONTHS TO 1 YEAR
42% TOTAL 1 YEAR OR LESS
12% MORE THAN 1 YEAR
32% THE MEDIA WILL NEVER TURN AGAINST THE WAR EFFORT
14% DON'T KNOW/REFUSED

3. Well..I think the terrorists prefer Bush
After all, they pulled off their greatest attack against the US on Bush's watch. And Bush has been great for recruitment of new terrorists. And he screwed up the hunt for Osama.

I guess sometimes the minority is better informed than the majority.

"Mike has an extensive background in public opinion research. In addition to his work with VP Communications, he was a special advisor to the Luntz Research Companies..."

He's a George Mason grad. Oughtta tell you enough. But just in case:

1989 Presidential Inaugural Committee
1989 Political appointment in the U.S. Department of Energy
1993 Governor Allen’s (R-VA) transition team for natural resources and economic development
1993 Staff member for Virginia’s Commission on Government Reform

Coupla gems.

5. The Andres McKenna Research's next question should be....
Which candidate served their country honorably during
the Vietnam War and who likely sneaked out to save his
own hide?

Next question should be which candidate is the champion
of the wealthy and the privileged?

11. they are absolutely wrong
Bush is the terrorists' wet dream.

He's done more than anyone to turn the world against the US.

He's done more than anyone to feed terrorists with recruits.

But then again, most Americans are clueless and this kind of story really is nothing more than propaganda for the Bush regime.

16. I found this on the AMR website
(February 2003)
- At least among the American people, the Bush Administration has made its case against Iraq. An overwhelming majority (89%) of respondents believe that Iraq either has or seeks nuclear or other weapons of mass destruction. A similarly impressive margin (82%) believes that the Iraqis are helping terrorists. More importantly, three-quarters of the respondents believe that Iraq poses a serious threat to the safety of the United States.

They didn't interview the terrorists to find out who they would prefer, they asked the American public. What silly stuff.

25. I'm going to get flamed here...
but maybe the terrorists aren't real thrilled with the current situation either. I'm not saying terrorists are great guys who are just misunderstood,or that there is any conceivable excuse for their actions,BUT there does seem to be some motivations for their actions. I don't believe that whoever took this poll actually has any real clue of whom the terrorists would really prefer, but is it impossible to believe that even the terrorists would prefer that the leader of the U.S. be a reasonable person who might at least be able to rethink our position on a few issues?

Why would anyone care who the terrorists prefer? Are they voting? What does that even mean? Because he will have them over? Because they think Bush is sooooo much scarier?

It's a stupid question, and I guess they got the stupid answer they deserved.
