Report: Ex-Barona Worker Who Fired Shots Still In Building
Source: San Diego 10 News (ABC)

SAN DIEGO -- The San Diego County Sheriff's Department is responding to a call of possible shots fired at the gaming commission located at the Barona Casino.
This incident is believed to have occured at around 10:10 a.m. Tuesday.
Initial reports indicated that the person believed to be the shooter is a man who is still inside the building and armed with a rifle

Other reports are saying this is a possible hostage situation, and although the shooter is in a separate building from the actual casino, the casino itself is on lock down. No reports of injuries, and unknown at this time if or how many hostages are being held.

2. Update: apparently a former employee of the gaming commission; hostages freed.
The sheriff's department said the alleged shooter initially took several hostages but quickly let them go.
According to Barona spokeswoman Kelly Spears, Roberts (the shooter) is a former gaming commission employee, and not a gaming commissioner. Roberts was fired in November for unspecified reasons.
