AFPYemeni police have arrested a key Al Qaeda chief believed to be behind threats that saw several foreign embassies in the capital Sanaa close their doors, police say.
Mohammed al-Hanq had evaded arrest on Monday during a security force raid in Arhab, 40 kilometres north of Sanaa, in which two of his relatives were killed and three other people wounded.

Obama's counter-terrorism adviser John Brennan warned on Sunday of possible attacks by Al-Qaeda in Yemen.
"There are indications that Al-Qaeda is planning to carry out an attack against (a) target inside of Sanaa, possibly our embassy," he said.
