Socialists Oust Spain's Ruling Party
http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/ap/20040315/ap_on_re_eu/spain_elections&cid=518&ncid=716

Snipped from the story:

"It was the first time a government that backed the Iraq war has been voted out of office. Incoming prime minister Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero has pledged to bring home the 1,300 troops Spain has stationed in Iraq when their tour of duty ends in July."

I would love to see Kerry jump on this (about Spain withdrawing the troops in July) to show Bush's lack of a plan for any kind of international support, etc.

1. He should not comment on this
unless the neo-cons say that the terrorists won through this election, then he should jump on your "bush's lack of a plan for any kind of international support", etc.

2. They caved to the threats of the terror bombers
Sad. Now the bombers have a working plan for future elections. Scare the people into voting their way. Sick.

4. They would have ousted Asnar's party anyway...

90% of Spain opposed the war. Let's not forget that.

5. Bullcrap!!!
The Spanish people didn't like being lied to like we were about an imperialistic war and they did something about it. Fortunately for the Spanish they have free elections. Unfortunately, we do not.

7. Let the games begin
Lets hope this is a world held view among voters. Especially in November.
