He will officially endorse Kerry.

EDIT: Sharpton endorses Kerry, but will not drop out in order to collect delegates to bring to the convention.

Don't necessarily support him because he can't win in November, but I voted for him here in TX because I very much like what he has to say, baggage and all notwitstanding. I'm a Kerry delegate to our Senatorial Convention.

Bless Kucinich. A lot of West L.A. still loves him, judging from the little signs poked into the dirt, and the bumper stickers I see around me. He's a heart. I'm glad it's OUR party that produces and boasts people who think like him.

5. UPDATE: Sharpton not actually dropping out

Candy Crowley just reported on CNN that Sharpton is NOT dropping out of the race; he intends to stay in the race in order to gather more delegates, but is endorsing Kerry nonetheless.

Vote for me! I need delegates! No, wait... vote for Kerry, because I endorsed him! But vote for me, too!!

I just think he's speaking out of both sides of his mouth. I'd rather see the DNC offer him a keynote speech, and be done with it already.

Primary season is just such a difficult....I had supported Edwards for so long and when he dropped out on Super Tuesday I just bawled my brains out...but Sharpton's decision is ultamately a smart one.

Looking back before Kerry became the front runner (the Dean days - have taped several things claiming Dean most likely nominee), it's interesting to see how things turn out and change.
