They showed a picture & gave his car and license plate # (couldn't get it down fast enough, though).

No last known in-style haircut..... fond of guns.......doughy white man, a bit frumpish.......unsmiling.....looks a hell of a lot like one of those pictures of freepers I sometimes see linked over here.

19. It refers to the constant speculation by legal/police officials

that the Beltway sniper was probably a white man which is the usual safe guess when dealing with a serial killer.

As was later shown, the sniper was a black Muslim convert.

This FReep apparently wants this to be another case of the police doing a profile that ignores the possibility that it could be Muslim-related terrorism. I spend time on FR looking for some sign of intelligent thought and this particular poster is one of their most unrepenent racists.

Most of them on the thread however seem to be happy that a suspect has been identified regardless of his race.

The Columbus Dispatch had a one-word headline and a big mug-shot--hope no one else gets hurt before they get him!

16. Well, I just read an article in an Ohio newspaper

that said a decrease in crime is directly related to more people carrying concealed weapons, so I'm guessing here that someone with a concealed weapon is going to apprehend this guy and the NRA can claim that guns make us all safer. (Read with pure sarcastic intent, please.)
