7. There were 3 bigger days in 2009
Jul 24 - 7, Oct 30 - 9, and Dec 18 - 7. Total loss to the FDIC fund this week is pretty big, though at over $1.8 Billion.

4. My best friend's husband worked for the bank in Florida
She told me last week that they had gotten a head's up that it would be closed today. He is 60 or 61 and finding another job is going to be very difficult. She teaches English classes on line for Kaplan and is really glad that she has a job. I really hate it when the recession hits home like this. Of course, my husband is unemployed and looking for a job, so I guess the recession hit home a while ago.
