http://www.suntimes.com/output/elect/cst-nws-pres18.html"Kerry, the likely Democratic nominee, proposed a ''Military Family Bill of Rights'' and an increase of 40,000 in Army troops as he sought for a third straight day to make the case that he can be trusted with the nation's defense.
He underscored that message with endorsements from former Defense Secretary William Perry and retired four-star Gen. John Shalikashvili, former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff."
+ I'm glad to see Shalikashvili come out for Kerry. He is one of the best Chairmen in recent history. Kerry seems to be garnering a good bit of military support. At least from military people (like myself) who can tell the difference between a real warrior and poser chickenhawks. I trust Kerry will not commit our troops without just cause and as a last resort.
