Annan Says U.N. Return to Iraq Is Imminent (NYT)
<snip>
Letters from the American-appointed Iraqi Governing Council and the American-administered Coalition Provisional Authority requesting that the United Nations return to Iraq arrived Thursday morning, and Mr. Annan said he would be sending a positive response back overnight.
<snip>
The letter from the governing council, several of whose members have complained recently about the United Nations role in Iraq, said only that the team should arrive "as soon as possible."

1. That's great.
I think they are going over to help figure out who gets the keys to Baghdad.

3. Ah, I see, so now they are gonna divvy up the pie.
That is what it seems like to me. Everyone is gonna get a piece. Spain, France, Germany, Poland, South Korea, et al. The worlds motives are not altruistic.

4. Liberalnproud....did you see 54nickels piece on oil, euro, dollar?
It might help answer some of your questions you had earlier today about something bothering you. Also, another article posted in the thread about the Spanish newly elected slapping Kerry. Excellent article there that might help you as well regarding Kerry and/or Dems.

:hi:

7. I thought Bush and his Administration considered the UN as
Irrelevent. It wasn't needed. We could go it alone. Old Europe and it's ilk could kiss our ass, we have NEW Europe as our allies.

Wazzup George? are your poll numbers tanking?

How do you stop American troops from being needlesly killed in Iraq?
Hummmmm...get in UN troops? maybe, it could be doable...perhaps we could still have control of the troops, we surely don't want our troops assigned to UN forces being commandeered by a FOREIGNER goddamnit!

When is the world going to "Bitch-Slap" this chicken-shit President who has caused the deaths of so many innocent people?
