FBI Investigating Cut Gas Line At Home Of Dem Rep's Brother

After a tea party organizer published the address of the brother of Rep. Tom Perriello (D-VA) in a blog post urging anti-health reform activists to "drop by," someone cut a propane gas line at the house, Politico is reporting.

In the Periello case, an activist named Mike Troxel of the Lynchburg Tea Party wrote a blog post telling activists to add a "personal touch" to their anger at Periello -- who voted yes on the health care bill -- by going to his house. But Troxel mistakenly posted the address of Periello's brother.

The blog post was apparently published on the site virginia6th.teapartywatchdogs.com , which is now down.

Yesterday, I spoke to a young man in Walmart -- my first visit there ever to buy a copy

of Michael Moore's "Capitalism." Was also looking for "Sicko" which I'd seen but wanted

to have a copy of it. They couldn't find "Capitalism" but I found it --

"Sicko" I never found, but he mentioned that he wasn't much on Michael Moore.

I asked him if he was against health care.

He said he thought he was too young to need it yet. And I assured him that illness can strike

at any age. Then he told me that he actually had a shunt in the back of his neck to drain

fluid from his brain! I told him it sounded to me like he actually needs health care NOW.

He told me he couldn't get insurance.

Then I told him about some of the points of the Obama HC plan -- ending pre-existing conditions.

Life time caps, etal. He was only 25.

Also, reminded him his parents would probably need Social Security and Medicare.

He told me he knew nothing about the plan! I suggested he go to his library and find a copy

of "Sicko" -- and also check in to find out some other things about the current health care

reform discussions.

Maybe he will -- but not enough info is getting out there to break thru the right wing block!

As for the full days work, I don't profess to know what our Congressmen and Congresswomen are doing when not "on the floor". I would assume that they are in their offices working. They have been there for many, many hours (many times, they stay in session late into the evening, as they did for the HCR vote) and have worked very hard for us these past weeks, and we should be saying thank you to them rather than criticizing them regardles of whether you are happy or not happy about the outcome. Hoyer even said, during the referenced interview, that these Congressmen have not been home to see there families, and are further being required to stick around in the event that the Senate changes anything on the reconcilliation (so the House will be available to immediately work on it). Also the Senate is currently in the 20 hour debate for reconcilliation and will also be there late in the evening.

Mike Troxel of the Lynchburg Tea Party published an address on his website and told his friends to go there. That's not in question.

The address Troxel gave out was for Tom Perriello's brother's home. That's also not in question.

At least one of his friends went to Perriello's brother's home and cut the propane line, causing an illegal release of hazardous materials. If the gas would have reached its Lower Explosive Limit and subsequently ignited, the resulting detonation could have done serious damage--if the quantity of gas was great enough, it could have formed a Fuel Air Explosive, one of the most devastating explosions around. It's not out of the realm of thinking the explosion could have leveled the neighborhood. Yes, FAEs are that powerful. Anyway, we can skip over the conjecture about what "might" have happen and concentrate on the release of hazmat, which is not in question.

What needs to happen:
1 Mike Troxel needs to be in jail, right now, on charges of incitement. I consider him a flight risk, so I wouldn't grant hum bail.

2. If Troxel can't produce the name of the person who cut the line, charge him with that too. Eventually we should be able to get into PATRIOT Act territory.

3. Arrest Limbaugh, Glenn Beck and Sarah Palin for incitement. Since none of them are in Virginia and the incident happened there, we're into federal territory now as this crosses state lines. What is it, Beck is in NYC, Palin's in Alaska and Limbaugh's in Florida?

4. We also need to begin a RICO investigation against the Republican National Committee. It might be hard to argue they are Racketeer Influenced but there is no question they are Corrupt.

I don't want much...just Mike Troxel in the Virginia state pen, three of the loudest Republican mouths doing Federal time and the Republican Party permanently disbanded.
