Kerry gets boost from surprising sources
Sen. John F. Kerry's presidential campaign is getting an unexpected boost from an unlikely bunch: former Bush administration officials and congressional Republicans.

In the past week, GOP Sens. John McCain (Ariz.) and Chuck Hagel (Neb.) have broken ranks and defended Kerry against President Bush's assertion that the Massachusetts senator is weak on national defense.

Over the weekend, Richard A. Clarke, Bush's former counterterrorism coordinator, said Bush focused too little attention on al Qaeda before the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks and too much on Iraq afterward.

3. The above mentioned men have actually seen combat
and quite likely understand that it isn't pretty, but a strong national defense is essential for a nation to survive. I believe that Messrs McCain and Hagel understand that, and realize that bushco are complete idiots, who have no clue about national defense since they have no first hand knowledge of war.

4. What is funny
is that they are attacking the whistleblowers for "political" motives when it is the GOP Presidential hopefuls who are moving into the credibility gap to possibly replace the Bush dynasty- which is steamrolling over a cliff.

If Bush goes there will likely be a mighty vacuum, because it looks now to be very ugly and catastrophic for Bush even in defeat.
