Howard Dean Endorses Former Rival John Kerry
http://abclocal.go.com/kgo/news/032504ap_nw_dean_kerry_endorsement.html

Former candidate Howard Dean has endorsed John Kerry for president at a rally at a university in the nation's capital.

Dean says his supporters can still make a difference in the general election. He says if the people he calls "Generation Dean" vote for Kerry, then they can send George W. Bush back to Texas.

Dean says he'll use his new organization -- Democracy for America -- to support Kerry and other Democratic candidates for office at all levels.

2. I dunno if this was such a great idea. JHMO, I'd prefer Dean to be that

"lone voice in the wilderness" calling for Democracy in America. I say this because of the last time Kerry spent a lot of time back tracking and nearly "apologizing" for Dean speaking the truth. And that was BEFORE Dean's endorsement.

I think this will lead to attempts to hamper the good doctor from speaking the truth.

6. Dean has to endorse Kerry.
He is innoculating himself and his supporters against blame when Kerry gets creamed.

7. If you're challenging an incumbent, and you're keeping pace
with him at this stage of the campaign, you don't get creamed. Chances are very good you'll win, in fact.

No, negative attitudes like yours will be to blame if Kerry gets "creamed".

5. Guess this expains Shrubs latest ad against Kerry -
Aides said Kerry would give at least three speeches focusing on economic issues, the area where Kerry believes he can make inroads against Bush. Polls show a tight race between Bush and Kerry, with the senator doing best on domestic, economic matters and the Republican incumbent strongest on national security and fighting terrorism.

9-11 investigations and Clarke's book got him wanting to quiet all this security and terrorism fighting talk for a while?
