Senators ... allege potential criminal violations in Medicare Case
Lawmakers Contend at Least 2 Federal Criminal Statuetes Were Possibly Broken by Officials at HHS, OMB and White House

WASHINGTON, DC – In a letter sent today, United States Senator Frank R. Lautenberg (D-N.J.) and several Democratic colleagues alerted U.S. Attorney General John Ashcroft of two federal criminal statutes the lawmakers believe were broken by Bush Administration officials during congressional consideration of President Bush's Medicare Prescription Drug bill late last year.

Below are the two specific federal criminal statutes the lawmakers are alleging were violated by Bush Administration officials. The language of each statute is included in the letter attached to this release.

1. I'm sure Ashcroft will get right on it, after he's done covering up all
the naked lady of justice statutes in America.

9. I called everyone in the Senate that I could think of
back when they were deciding on his confirmation. If only the Senators had listened to me!

7. Still recovering from his gall bladder attack?
Unfortunately, poor health may force him to resign, so he can spend more time with his family.

(Good excuse!)

6. Thank God.
It's amazing how many violations senators can get away with. The fraud on the Medicare bill is astounding.

11. Yes
Yes, he was as Govenor of Missouri and as Senator as well, always remember your current AG is the Senator that couldn't beat an opponent that had been sadly killed in a plane crash prior to the election. Ashcroft doesn't even make a good excuse for AG.
