1. How could you miss a budget vote??

That's the main role of Congress.

2. I agree
The one congressman who missed the vote who has an excuse is Billy Tauzin (R-LA) who has cancer (I assume he missed the vote, I'm not 100% sure). Everyone else should be ashamed of themselves(unless one of them is sick or something and I didn't here about it). If everyone showed up this would have passed very narrowly. Democrats needed 11 republicans to vote no and they got 10.

Hopefully, the republicans will mess up in conference and either the Senate or the House will vote it down on final passage. The senate passed their version with only a vote of 51-45 and 4 democrats absent.

3. These 8 members missed an earlier House vote today
Neil Abercrombie (D-HI)
Lacy Clay (D-MO)
Luis Gutierrez (D-IL)
Joe Hoeffel (D-PA)
Don Manzullo (R-IL)
Scott McInnis (R-CO)
Mike Pence (R-IN)
Billy Tauzin (R-LA)

So, those are probably the ones who missed the Budget vote.

is a slime ball and a conservative anyhow. he probably missed it to wait and see how the budget plays before the public..then he will take whatever side is popular. Thank god Pelosi in Minority leader and not that loser.
