U.S. Marine killed in Falluja

BAGHDAD (Reuters) - One U.S. Marine has been killed and several wounded during fighting in the Iraqi town of Falluja, west of Baghdad, a U.S. military spokesman says.

The death on Friday brought to 400 the number of U.S. troops killed in action since the start of the U.S.-led war in Iraq just over a year ago.

That would actually bring the toll to 590 (but we keep disappearing the dead).

I know there is a link regarding the fight in Falluja, but I felt that it would minimize the loss to merely update the thread.

use strictly those killed in action, instead of the total number that have died in Iraq. Obviously they're trying to minimize the number of deaths and in essence mislead the public.
