Man confesses to murder after seeing Gibson's film of Jesus
Mel Gibson's controversial but lucrative depiction of the final hours in the life of Jesus has moved a Texas man to seek redemption by confessing to the
murder of his pregnant girlfriend.

The conversion of Dan Leach, 21, apparently as a result of viewing The Passion of the Christ, is the latest in a chain of revelations since the film's release in America a month ago. The film opened in Britain yesterday.

Along with $300m (£166m) in box office earnings - much of which will return to Gibson's pockets as the main financier - the film has reportedly induced criminals to repent, married couples to come to blows, anti-semitic outbreaks, and at least one heart attack in the climactic crucifixion scene.

Mr Leach told police he had strangled Ashley Nicole Wilson, 19, in January because he did not want the child she was carrying.

6. Christ.. (no pun intended)
... if Dubya would confess to all of his crimes, it would last longer than "The Passion" before he was done...

7. The film healed my bunions!
Medical science was powerless. Graven idols brought no relief.

But the minute I saw Gibson's hand nailing Jesus to the wood, I felt what can only be described as a "healing light between my toes." Removing my shoes and socks in the crowded theater and inviting others to bear witness, I watched as the bunions fell away! (A few days later, they turned up in the wash.)

Today I'm not ashamed to wear open-toed sandals or ask female acquaintances for toe-sucking. My square dancing has improved, I can feed myself pretzels orangutan-style, and best of all I feel positive about accepting the Lord into my life--as well as into His new special place between my toes. SEE THIS MOVIE WHATEVER YOU DO, ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE FOOT PROBLEMS!!!

9. I had a pendulous mole on my back which shriviled up and fell off lastweek
...and all I did was think about going to the movie. After thinking about it, I decided not to go. But the miricle of the mole happened anyway, and will be with me always.
