MILWAUKEE (AP) -

A Milwaukee man is accused of shooting a woman with a pellet gun at a Red Box movie dispenser because of her race.

A criminal complaint says Robert Malczewski told police he was shooting at "Mexicans" when he fired his BB gun toward the rental box outside a Walgreen's store July 25. The pellet had to be surgically removed from the neck of the woman who was shot.

A criminal complaint says the 35-year-old Malczewski told investigators he was shooting possums but because mosquitoes were so bad outside he moved to his room and started shooting at "Mexicans." He later denied shooting at people.

I see a lot of defense of this here on DU today. Burning a Quran, shooting a pellet at a Mexican, buying a politician, money talks so it's now speech and if you don't have it, well too bad, what's the difference?

Once we changed 'freedom of speech' to 'freedom of expression' the possibilities of what is protected are limitless. Don't like your neighbor? Express yourself, shoot him!

I have seen where people purchase Air Guns when they live in area's where it's illegal to discharge firearms within xxx distance of residences. So to shoot rodents around the house they opt for an Air Gun.
