DOJ investigating at least 5 anti-Muslim acts

WASHINGTON (AP) - The Justice Department is investigating a handful of apparently anti-Muslim incidents in four states, including the stabbing of a Muslim cab driver in New York City.

FBI agents and civil rights division investigators also are looking into vandalism and other incidents at mosques or mosque construction sites in Arlington, Texas; Murfreesboro, Tenn.; Madera, Calif., and Waterport, N.Y.

Attorney General Eric Holder was meeting Tuesday with Muslim and other religious leaders to discuss the attacks and the uproar over a planned mosque near ground zero in New York.

They want Holder to condemn hate crimes and to try to defuse tensions over a Florida church's plan to burn copies of the Quran (ku-RAHN') on Saturday, the ninth anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.

1. There are a lot of things the DOJ should have investigated

especially the hate crimes against the Democrats. when they let those pass who would have thought some body there had the balls to prosecute crimes against Muslims. The tea bags and republicans and their ilk think they can do anything they want and if the Justice Department had cracked down on them to start with we wouldn't have all this hate and violence NOW.
