Border agents arrested 20 illegal immigrants Tuesday morning who were attempting to enter the country by sea at Calafia State Beach in San Clemente.

When the small craft the immigrants were riding in land landed, the occupants attempted to flee. Agents with the U.S. Border Patrol arrested 17 men and three women, all from Mexico.

A 36-year-old woman suffered a broken leg while jumping from the boat, according to a statement from the U.S. Border Patrol in San Diego.

Need I not mention that the OC Coast isn't the best place for undocumented immigrants because it's a lily-white area (especially with plenty Minutemen?)

1. The people on the OC coast are exactly why they're coming in the first place.

2. "Lily White Area" - ?! Which of course means....what, exactly? So hypocritical.

You imply that this happened because "lily white" people are automatically racist. Can you not see your own hypocrisy? I really don't see how racist comments like yours are allowed here.

What if a DUer were to term a certain area of the US a "chocolate brown" area, and then make assumptions about those people based on their race? Would that stand? Of course not, and it shouldn't. Neither should your racist bs comment stand.

On the report you link to, people tried to enter the country illegally. Authorities stopped them. What else should they have done?

5. Implication vs. inference.
Implication vs. inference.

I imagine we read what we want to read, see wgat we want to see, and translate in such as a way as to better validate our own opinions.

6. I tend to find that when white people are overly sensitive about their whiteness they are usually
racist. I'm white. It's just something I've noticed when discovering overt racism in other white people.

7. maybe i'm wrong, but i think the OP meant that the boat passengers
even if they landed successfully, would have stuck out in an obvious way amid the local populace as opposed to places where they could just blend in with passers-by...

8. It apparently means they would not blend in well after a successful landing

Landing is one thing. Making a successful exit from the landing area is another.

When visiting Nairobi, I figured it would not be a good place for me to attempt to evade police by walking around on the streets, if I had reason to hide from them.

9. OMFG!!! The illegals are everywhere! They're...
invading our country by land and sea.... next they'll probably start parachuting in pregnant women to have anchor babies.

Don't just stand there.... PANIC!

Between the Mooslims and the Messicans and the Socialists.... I don't know who to fear most!
