in dutch though. Awesome, scary book. Google is a big part of online big brother - and the book also points out the only browser that gets accolades from organisations such as EPIC is called Ixquick
http://www.Ixquick.com , they don't log your searches or keep your IP. It's a meta-search engine, so uses other search engines, you can still decide to list the google results for example.
Much in the same way, I use BetterPrivacy as a Firefox addon - it deletes the so-called "supercookies" that get into your flashplayer (!) folder and that remain there forever, identifying you.
Adblock plus in turn (another addon) allows me to blacklist ads from a whole slew of domains at once, and NoScript gets rid of all unwanted javascript and thereby for example google analytics and adsense and the like if you so decide (who do things like putting unique-ID cookies on your pc that set a new cookie when you delete them)
 for EPIC, K&R
