Democrats tout "major" announcement Wednesday
Source: CNN

Washington (CNN) – Democratic National Committee Chairman Tim Kaine plans to make what's being billed as a major announcement Wednesday about the future of the party, according to a Democratic source with knowledge of the speech.

The source tells CNN that Kaine will announce something that will excite Democrats across the country. Kaine's event comes as Democrats face the difficult task of holding onto their majorities in the House and Senate this November.

The speech, scheduled for Wednesday afternoon at George Washington University, happens around the same time that Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele kicks of a major bus tour in support of Republicans running in the midterm elections. But the source says that the timing of Kaine event was in the works well before the date of Steele's kickoff was announced.

25. I was thinking something like: Carrots. Donkey.
:silly: It's a little late eh? Then again, it's not like this should be of any surprise to our Party. It's also not like they weren't warned waaaaaaaaaaaaaay ahead of time that there would be risks to sleeping with dogs that have fleas.

Sigh. My enthusiasm level remains flapjack flat. I do not have a guilt complex. See, the problem seems to come about once campaign mode /ends. That compromisin' bipartisan bullshit will bite ya in the butt every damn time.

Not gonna take the bait when you all get all swishy, switchy, twitchy once the deal's been signed, sealed and delivered. Been there, done that.

I aint' mad though.

I'm actually more mad at myself for believing the hype.

Line is drawn in the sand and I dare this Administration to step over it and to the left.

36. Sounds like you are demanding direct democracy not representative government.
We are supposed to be electing people who then use their own judgment to make decisions for the country, not mindless automatons that read the opinion polls in their state on every issue and vote exactly as their constituents would.

that aren't based on the interests of about 99% of the country, but by all means, everyone should keep sleeping, believing in the false paradigm of fake Political Theater, and getting full on drunk on Propaganda designed not to inform you, but to manage your perception to keep you nice and passive, (yet ever fearful and watchful of myths like "the War On Terror", "War On Drugs"), so that the looting, robbing, and stealing can continue unabated.

Keep Following Your Bliss I Say! :hi:

26. Obviously it's a merger ....
They've finally understood that the cost of running a two party system is way too high, especially when each party is pursuing essentially the same goals - so they are gong to merge.

Starting Wednesday the new party will be known as the Depublicans.

Expect their stock price to rise along with massive layoffs.
