Tancredo Remains On The Ballot
Source: Denver Post

Tom Tancredo and his running mate Patricia Miller are entitled to stay on the ballot as the American Constitution Party’s gubernatorial ticket, ruled Denver District Judge William Hood today.

“In short, the fact that Mr. Tancredo and Ms. Miller were long-time registered Republicans until they switched parties, ‘at the 11th hour’ as Plaintiffs put it, and were then designated by ACP to fill these vacancies is irrelevant,” Hood wrote.

“The high-paid Republican lawyers managed to present a case that was weaker than their candidate,” Tancredo said in a statement. “Their attempt to impede my candidacy has now failed in the courts as well as on the campaign trail. Now our focus must turn to the liberal mayor of the sanctuary city of Denver.”

The ruling comes the same day that Tancredo jumped ahead of Republican Dan Maes in the polls.

1. You ask whether he will pull it out against Hickenlooper?
Really? Last poll had H beating Maes and Tancredo's polling combined.

3. Absolutely not.
Rasmussen has Hickenlooper well ahead of his two opponents. The poll just widened to Hickenlooper's favor by 10 points! Fivethirtyeight says there's a 96% chance Hickenlooper will win. Tancredo will be a spoiler that the GOTP will truly regret. Unless Tancredo can get OFF the ballot there is almost no chance of Hick losing.

Hick will probably win....but remember in the 1998 Minnesota Governor's race, a poll on October 20 before the November election showed Humphrey at 35%, Norm Coleman at 34% and Ventura at 21%, yet Ventura won.
