German elite back Kerry over Bush
Berlin - More than three-quarters of German business and political leaders favour Democrat John Kerry for United States president over George Bush, according to a survey by a leading business magazine published on Wednesday.

The survey of 508 business and political leaders by Capital magazine found that only 12 percent prefer Bush while 76 percent want to see the Democrat challenger win the November election.

The Bush administration clashed openly with Gerhard Schroeder's government over the German chancellor's loud opposition to the Iraq invasion.

Though this makes me happy I feel this can be twisted by the Repukes into a Terminator, 'I'm American. Don't puck with me and I don't listen to anyone and I can kill anyone I want and I feel good to do it' patriotism.

3. The German elite can go to hell
Seriously. I think their endorsement is the best (perhaps the only?) reason for NOT voting for John Kerry.

12. Omigod, what happened? Did they drop an atomic bomb on civilians twice?!
Please, do tell us what the current living German elite has done to equal the moral crimes of the current living American elite, who killed millions of Southeast Asians and lately have invaded and occupied a foreign nation.

13. Re: The last time the German "elite" got all excited about a politician
We learned from our history, don't compare us to the ones happily following Hitler.

For my part its not that I'm excited about Kerry, its more a "no democratic nominee can be worse than Bush" attitude.
Should Bush get elected, it can only get worse.
But I'm not an "Elite", so my opinion isn't worth anything.

But the current political situation in the USA sometimes make me think that many in the US are either not familar with history, or that they are very resistant to learning from it.

Perhaps you'd like to join the new century with the rest of us?

4. Not the kind of headlines Kerry needs
Americans do not react well to this sort of thing. It should be pretty clear by now that the US public doesn't care what foriegn politicians or business leaders think.

That word "elite" in the title only makes the headline more damaging for Kerry and helpful to Bush.

9. Something is very wrong here! If the German business leaders came out
backing aWol it would be positive news all over the Amercan Media Whore airwaves. Including Limbutt. Including, 100% I'm sure, coming from every person in the aWol Crime Family. So why have so many of you posted a 'negative' feeling when this news is applied to Kerry?
